This year’s program was amazing. I learned so much about physics and the Italian culture. I have now opened my mind to possibilities of a future inside and outside SD. I really miss everyone involved in the success of this summer’s program. I’m excited to be able to keep in contact with most of them via email. Our flight back home went well. I was kinda glad to have a day away from Grey after the press conference. Before we left Princeton, we started brainstorming for next year’s program. I think we put together a pretty good schedule for next year’s students. I’m so excited for the 10 that get to travel to Princeton, Italy and hopefully Lead next summer. After the press conference the Thursday after we got back, we ate lunch once again with Governor Rounds and many other reps. We shared some stories and started discussing some of the details for picking next year’s students. I really hope to remain involved in the program planning for next year. Right now though, my focus has switch to jumping into my first year of college. Studying at Princeton has given me a heads-up that I couldn’t have gotten otherwise. I hope everyone reading this enjoyed our summer journey as much as I have.
This year will go by fast. Hoping all the best to everyone involved and reading this.
