the end of all things is but a great and exciting begining.
I dont know if any one has written that before, but I believe that it works when describing the end of this year’s summer program.
The leaving of princeton and all the faces we had come to know so well was both saddening and exciting. I could not wait to arrive in South Dakota, and even more so my own home; but, having to say good bye to the Italians and all the great people we had met was a rather somber experience. I am so glad I was able to participate in this years summer program. Seeing all the great ideas being passed from scientist to scientist regardless of origin, one comes to realize that the scientific community is truly globalized, and the amount of work needed, from the individual to the whole of society, is truly mind boggling. I can now truly say I wish to enter this world of study and understanding.
A truly enjoyable experience, I would like to encourage any future student interested in the sciences to apply for this program as soon as possible.
I would finally like to thank all the people who have made this possible, and all the people who made us welcome in their states and countries.
